Nemeton TV to Provide Satellite Tranmissions for G8 Summit

The upcoming G8 Summit will see Nemetons ‘Digisat’ HD satellite trucks providing the primary satellite feed for worldwide distribution.

The eyes of the world will be on the Lough Erne Golf Resort in Fermanagh where world leaders will gather to focus their minds on world events.

The G8 Summit takes place on the 17th and 18th of June.  The satellite links provided by Nemeton will send live pictures from the event to broadcasters all around the world.

Nemetons technical director Tomás Mac Craith says it’s a huge development to the service we provide “In terms of prestige and doing global business this is as good as it gets for an Irish Technology company.”

Nemeton TV wins All Ireland Marketing Award

Nemeton TV has taken one of the top prizes in the  All Ireland Marketing Awards.

The event which was held in  the Burlington Hotel in Dublin last week was attended by all the top marketeers from the country’s leading companies. 

These “oscars” for the marketing profession are centred on the strategic value of marketing as a driver of business success.

Nemeton beat off some very strong competition in the ‘Marketing Through Irish’ category, including The Irish Independent and Bank of Ireland.

Managing Director, Irial Mac Murchú says differentiation is key in marketing.

“Using the Irish language can be a powerful way of standing out from the crowd. This has been a growing trend amongst Irish businesses, as they seek to emphasise their origin and brand values.
