Nemeton produces Video for new Medieval Museum

Nemeton TV were delighted to work closely with the team at the new Medieval Museum to create a video that tells the story of the amazing Choristers Hall in Waterford. The video focuses on the history of the site, the excavation and archeology, and the incredible restoration and conservation work and the striking new modern building.

Designed by Waterford City Council architects Rupert Maddock and Bartosz Rojowski and curated by the Museum’s Director Eamonn McEneaney, the Medieval Museum is a stunning contemporary building which now sits at the Northern end of Cathedral Square – the drawing-room of Waterford. Thanks to Government investment through Fáilte Ireland and Waterford City Council, this geographically compact area of the city is well on its way to being one of the flag ship tourist attractions in the South East Region, along with the Rock of Cashel, the Dunbrody Famine Ship and Kilkenny Castle.

Maeve Quill at Nemeton said “It was an incredible project to work on, it’s an amazing place to have on our doorstep and an incredible asset for Waterford City and County.

The Medieval Museum opened its doors to locals and visitors in August 2012, with the official ribbon cutting opening taking place in Spring of 2013. It is hoped that people in Waterford will take the time to visit this wonderful new museum in the city and spread the good news among family and friends that Waterford has yet again delivered a world class visitor attraction that will delight young and old.

The Medieval Museum is open seven days a week year round.  Gift Shop on site.
Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays 11am to 6pm.
