International Rules Gold

International Rules Gold 2013 is a new 7 part series produced by Nemeton TV for TG4.

The series looks back at the history of the clashes bewteen Ireland and Australia and will act as a lead in to the recommencement of the International Rules Test Series later on this year.

TG4 will exclusively broadcast the upcoming tests between Ireland and Australia.  The first test is scheduled for Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan on October the 19th  with the 2nd test being played in Croke Park a week later on October 26th.

‘International Rules Gold’ programme will showcase the pivotal games from the history of the International series and will include the first test in Ireland way back in 1984 up to the most recent games from Melbourne and the gold coast in 2011.

The first programme will be shown on TG4 this Saturday at 7.15pm

Dara writes for GAA Just Play App

This week writing for GAA’s Just Play App, is Dara Ó Cinnéide.  The Just Play App enables Gaelic games fans worldwide to watch weekly highlights of all the latest football and hurling action including inter-county, club, Under 21, minor and third level games. Furthermore, the app allows viewers to revisit action from weeks gone by in the ‘Archive’ section.

Dara Ó Cinnéide is a former Kerry Footballer and sports broadcaster.

He played with Kerry for over ten years winning three All Ireland’s, eight Munster titles and two national football leagues.

In 2004 he captained the side to All Ireland glory when they beat Mayo in the Final.

Since his retirement from inter county football he presents Seó Spóirt on TG4 and works with Raidió na Gaeltachta.
