SCOTTISH CHALLENGE CUP FINAL on BBC ALBA
This weekend our attention is on the nail-biting final of the Scottish Challenge Cup as Welsh side Connah’s Quay Nomads take on Ross County.
Andy Morrison’s side have beaten a host of Scottish clubs to get to the final with Falkirk, Queen’s Park and Edinburgh City all struggling against them. The Nomads will be looking to add Ross County to that list and if they succeed they will be the first team outside of Scotland to have won the trophy. Will they be able to make to make history?
Ross County are still on course for promotion back the Premiership. Despite their recent defeat to Championship rivals Dundee United, the Staggies are still 7 points clear at the top. They will be looking to add some silverware to keep the momentum around the club going and they will see Saturday’s final as an ideal opportunity to show everyone that they are the favourites for promotion and that they will be in Scotland’s top division next season.
You can watch live coverage of the match from 16:20 on Saturday (23rd of March) on BBC ALBA.
