This weekend, we’re heading over to Aberdeen to cover the SPFL Premiership game Aberdeen v Kilmarnock, broadcast on BBC ALBA Saturday 27th January at 18:00.

In the extended half-time features, our Aberdeen and Kilmarnock players chat about their clubs, managers, hopes and challenges in their careers.

In Aberdeen, we catch up with Niall McGinn, as he begins his second spell with the Dons. The 30-year-old talks about the influence of Derek McInnes and his relief that Michael O’Neill will remain as Northern Ireland manager.

Kilmarnock youngster Calum Waters talks about the impact made by manager Steve Clarke, Kris Boyd’s longevity and the hurt he still feels after missing out on promotion with Alloa last season in the Championship play-off final.
