World Cup Qualifying Action on BBC ALBA

FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifier – Scotland v Poland – 19:25, Tuesday 10th April

Tonight (10th April) sees Scotland welcome Poland to Paisley in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 Qualifiers. Having lost narrowly to Switzerland in Schaffhausen last Thursday, Shelley Kerr and her side will be looking to get their qualification campaign back on track against second placed Poland in Group 2. At half-time tonight, we chat to Glasgow City and Scotland player Abbi Grant on her form of late, which recently earned her a first call up to Shelley Kerr’s squad. Also, defender Sophie Howard discusses the role played by Lisa Evans in her call-up to the Scotland squad, her playing career in Germany, and the team’s flexibilty under Shelley Kerr.

Glasgow Warriors – who look set to seal a home semi-final – welcome Irish province Connacht in a Conference A clash.
