Our attention this weekend takes us back to the Scottish Premiership as St Johnstone take on Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park in our featured match.
St Johnstone will be hoping to continue their winning form after winning their last two league matches against Dundee and Hamilton Academical respectively. Meanwhile, Aberdeen will be wanting to recover from their loss against Kilmarnock after their appeal against Michael Devlin’s red card was rejected by the SFA.

Women’s Football on BBC ALBA
It’s an exciting week of women’s football for us in the Nemeton office in Scotland. We’ll be producing coverage of two live matches.
First, it’s the conclusion of Scotland’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualification campaign. Albania v Scotland will be live and exclusive on BBC ALBA. Qualification for the tournament hangs in the balance. A win for Scotland and points dropped by Switzerland would see the Scots through automatically. However, if the Swiss are successful away to Poland, and Scotland win, there’s still the carrot of a potential play-off spot. In our half–time piece we hear from Christie Murray on her summer…
Sport Drama on BBC ALBA
It’s a week of sporting drama for us at the Nemeton office in Scotland as hopes of qualification and cup lifts hang in the balance.
We kick off the action with live coverage on BBC ALBA of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifier between Scotland and Switzerland on Thursday night. This is the first of a double header of must-win matches that would secure qualification for Shelley Kerr’s team.
We then head over to Kingussie where Skye Ladies clash against Badenoch & Strathspey Ladies in the Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Final. To round the week off, Hearts are aiming to maintain their 100% start to the season with a win against St…
